I am Waseem Abbas the CEO of Professional Hospital Furnishers. I would like to take few moments of your valuable time to introduce my self and my company to you. I promise that this will be a brief account and will help you in better understanding.

To cut the long story short, how i joined this company is full of surprises. I had originally planned to become a professional engineer but nature had some other plans for me.

From 1972 and until 1986, my father was running a very successful surgical instrument manufacturing company. The company was performing at its peak in mid 80s. We had many big customers like American V.Mueller (Now Baxter), Sklar Corp and other major American importers. Our annual turn over was touching multi million dollar mark. In late 80s, the partnership was broken and in the course of next few years, the company plunged to a very low level. It was the most depressing and testing times for the family and any hopes for a revival were little. It was at this time, that I joined the company and took up challenge to bring the company back to it glory days.

Beside making an aggressive plan for the company revival, I also noticed one more thing in our previous business practices. Most of the companies from Sialkot were exporting their instruments on OEM basis and none were engaged in product branding. This was a crucial decision for us to change this trend and to sell instruments under our own brand. I could clearly see that doing so has a value not only for me but for my distributors as well.

That was the time when we made a very bold decision to launch our own exclusive brand of surgical instruments and market it internationally. Since that day we have never looked back despite passing through very difficult and at times frustrating moment.

At present our "Professional" brand of instruments are being exclusively sold in 60 countries, a feast hardly matched by our competitors. Our exporter are back on track and we are today on the same footing that was once enjoyed by my father.
What ensured success during all these years is our uncompromising stance on quality,professionalism, support to our customers that include efficient delivery, packaging and quality guarantees and our sincere adherence to our vision that we had set for our organization, right from that very first day.

Having said this, I want also to frankly tell you that we are not a 100% problem free company. We are faced with problems like any other company, but what distinguishes us from other is that we resolve them with a very high level of professional approach. I give you an example that if at any time, a Professional Instrument is found to be defective, we will replace it FREE of cost with no questions asked and the quality issue will also be eliminated. This i how we learn from our mistakes. The same policy applies to other issues which require a quick resolve.

The fruits of our strong policies are very rewarding. I have personally experienced this an whenever its time to visit a customer, I am always given a "special gust" status. Please allow me to thank all my friends as well and it was never possible without the hard work they have put for the mutual success.
